Weekly Spoilers: September 5-9, 2022

The Young and the Restless

All the ground is shaky as Lily and Billy’s relationship is looking iffier than ever, Nikki and Phyllis’ alliance is falling apart, Sally is worrying the bejeezus out of Chloe, and Victor is tearing through Newman like a bull in a china shop. Once you’re sure that the rug beneath you isn’t about to be yanked out...

Friday, September 2:

Adam apologizes to Sally, Phyllis taunts Diane, Kyle plans a surprise for Summer, and Victor makes a demand of Nick.

It being a day of the week that ends in “day,” Victor questions Nick’s judgment. Way to make the guy glad that he returned to the family business, Pops!

For so long, Nikki and Phyllis have felt powerless to strike back at Diane. But at last, the unlikely tag team is able to celebrate a win. But at what cost?

When Kyle receives unsettling news from Jack, we have a hunch that it will be in regard to the exposé. Will the Marchetti exec feel compelled to fire his mother-in-law?

Week of September 5:

Y&R Restless Rant! Hot topics: Nick and Sally, Chance and Abby’s trouble in paradise, the new big bad and more!

Monday, September 5:

Nobody could have seen this one coming. Kidding. Everybody could see it coming except for Nikki and Phyllis. When their plan backfires, the only questions are, “How badly?” and “Which of them will get burned worse?”

Apparently having taken up reading How to Wreck a Marriage in Three Simple Steps, Kyle keeps a secret from Summer. Mm-hmm. Because that’s always gone so well for “Skyle.”

Could we be getting our first tease of One Life to Live vet Trevor St. John’s imminent arrival in Genoa City? We suspect that will be the case when Diane receives a cryptic message.

Tuesday, September 6:

Victor’s blood pressure is sure to spike anew as he discovers Adam’s latest deception. At this point, were the Mustache to say, “Son, if I’ve told you once, I’ve told you a thousand times — don’t deceive me!” it wouldn’t be an exaggeration.

Can’t say as we blame Lily for questioning Billy’s partnership with Chelsea. We doubt he’d be too keen on it, were Lily throwing sparks with one of her exes (Daniel, Cane… ).

They’ve already managed to pull off the tricky part: getting on the same page. Now, Mariah and Tessa discuss their next chapter — and perhaps the diaper changes that may accompany it.

Wednesday, September 7:

Ah, nothing says “family” quite like being stabbed in the back by a relative, eh? It’s going to seem like old times for the Abbotts when Billy challenges Jack’s leadership at Jabot.

Perhaps sensing that something is about to happen with Nick that could upset the apple cart, Chloe gives Sally a warning… which, let’s be real, she’s less likely to heed than she is to show up at work wearing something less than fashionable.

Who’ll be getting an assist when Abby enlists Chance to help someone in need? If a detective is required, it could be exceptionally serious.

Thursday, September 8:

Likely still dealing with the fallout from her and Phyllis’ botched scheme against Diane, Nikki makes a shocking announcement. Could she finally be ready to let bygones be bygones?

When Phyllis corners Jack, she’s likely to regret it. But how? Her actions since Diane rose from the grave have already buried the future that “Phack” was dreaming of. Is it still possible that Phyllis can make a bad situation worse?

Speaking of making bad situations worse… Chelsea makes progress with Billy, which can’t be good news for his romance with Lily.

Friday, September 9:

Perhaps forgetting that Victoria is in charge, Victor demands changes at Newman Enterprises. Hope helmets are handy when the butting of heads commences.

Nate doesn’t need a scalpel in his hand to be a smooth operator. Today, the former doctor holds his own in the boardroom.

When Adam undergoes a change of heart will it lead him straight back to Sally… or will he instead decide to bow out of the job at Jabot to save his pal Jack’s hide?

The Bold and the Beautiful

Battle lines are drawn ever more deeply in the Forresters and Logans’ fight over Douglas’ living arrangements. In one corner, we have Steffy restating her desire to see her family reunited — especially Mom and Dad. In the other, we have Brooke issuing ultimatums and calling in reinforcements. That’s right! Donna and Katie are coming off of the sidelines! And in the middle of the melee, we have Liam, dear, sweet Liam, poised to say the wrong thing at any moment and make an explosive situation go kaboom. Sorry, we didn’t mean to make you tense!

Friday, September 2:

Sheila decides Finn still loves her, Liam has flashbacks, and Thomas tells Hope he’s still a one-woman man!

Well, it sounds like a move was made! Hope visits Douglas at the Forrester mansion to determine if Thomas is being truthful. Will she discover that the boy is happier than she ever expected? If so, will she drop her objections to the change in living arrangements? And even if she does, would Brooke be able to let it go?

And this week on The Odd Couple… Deacon had better get used to playing out this scenario over and over! He attempts to maintain his composure while blocking Finn and Bill’s view of Sheila.

Week of September 5:

Bold & Beautiful Opinion: Hot topics: Why Sheila should have stayed dead, Quinn’s exit, the Douglas debacle, ultimatums ahead, and more!

Monday, September 5:

Here we go again! Taylor gets caught up in a moment of love and connection with Ridge. Brooke may have bought this explanation for the kiss in Monaco, but something tells us they used up their one and only free pass.

Sheila becomes disgruntled when Deacon accuses her of magical thinking. We’re going to assume he’s not pointing the finger at her for casting a spell on him but instead calling her out on her fantasies of reuniting with Finn. Of course, anything is possible on Bold & Beautiful so we came up with a Sheila plot so bonkers that it just might work!

Tuesday, September 6:

Eeny-meeny-miney-mo ain’t gonna cut it when Brooke and Taylor each demand that Ridge choose a side in the battle for Douglas. Of course, this could backfire for La Logan as we can’t imagine Ridge aligning with her to shoot down his son’s dream. Then again, destiny’s call sometimes seems impossible for the designer to ignore!

It looks like Deacon’s found himself working a second job policing his new roomie! Luckily, quick thinking is on his side when he intercepts Sheila’s brazen move toward Finn and Steffy. Something tells us it’s only a matter of time before she tries again, however, as the madwoman can never be reined in for long.

Wednesday, September 7:

Based on history, and the fact that the man formerly known as Tofu Boy was recently complimented by Bill for “thinking like his father,” we have a pretty good idea how this will go: Liam offers his opinion of the situation when Hope is invited to a Forrester family dinner. We’re gonna guess it won’t be, “Go ahead! Have a great time with Thomas. I’ll wait up.”

Perhaps they’re huddled together after being left out in the cold, aka, excluded from the Forrester family dinner? Brooke confides in Liam that Taylor, Steffy and Thomas are conspiring against the Logans. Will Hope’s husband buy into the conspiracy theory? Our guess is he’ll invest in shares. (Also, OMG, could this be the start of this shockeroo of a storyline?!?)

Thursday, September 8:

We can’t believe there is anyone out there that is still unsure about her stance on this, but nonetheless, Steffy makes it crystal clear that she supports Ridge and Taylor reuniting.

Liam is stunned when Hope returns home from the Forresters without Douglas. Will this escalate fears perhaps created by Brooke’s pot-stirring? If so, might Hope’s usually hapless hubby take a page from dad Dollar Bill’s playbook to deal with the situation (and thereby make everything worse)?

Friday, September 9:

Oh jeez, the big guns are coming out! The Forresters will doubtless go on high alert when the Logan sisters — Katie and Donna — band together to support Brooke. Or maybe they won’t… but it’s always nice to see the Logan ladies either way.

Has this ever worked before?!? Brooke demands that Taylor put an end to her shenanigans regarding Ridge. If you want an idea of how this sort of ultimatum has gone over in the past, all you have to do is page through our photo album of Brooke and Taylor’s fiercest showdowns — we didn’t title it “Fight Club” for nothing!

General Hospital

Finn is thankful to have someone in his corner, Ned worries about Brook Lynn’s beau, two major Port Charles players butt heads, and Selina takes a meeting which could have major implications down the line!

Week of August 29:

Monday, August 29:

Dex and Joss work together to save Ava’s life, Liz has another episode and loses more time, and Britt slaps Cody after he kisses her.

Mac and Felicia wind up on the same page as they come to a mutual realization.

Joss and Ava have a complex relationship, given that the teen’s mom isn’t the gallery owner’s biggest fan. But how will Joss react when she finds the older woman in need of help?

Sonny has had just about enough of the way his family treats Nina. But is there really anything he can do to change them?

Perhaps because of their long and complicated history, Elizabeth finds herself able to open up to Nikolas in a way she might not be able to with others.

Cody and Britt (aka the soon-to-depart Kelly Thiebaud) are about to get in one another’s faces. But will it result in exchanging kisses or insults?

We don’t particularly think of them as pals, but Finn takes it upon himself to offer Spencer a bit of advice.

Tuesday August 30:

Ava is in stable but serious condition after surgery, Nikolas visits her and makes a cryptic statement, and Liz freezes when Jordan asks where she was during the time of the attack.

Given everything that went down during the Quartermaine picnic, it’s not really surprising that the town is still reeling the morning after. Look for this to be a big topic of conversation in the days to come!

Josslyn is still trying to process what went down. Having been through a terrifying situation or two herself over the years, Carly is there to help her daughter process things.

Finn and Elizabeth have had… let’s be kind and call them “issues.” Now, they’re about to sit down and try to talk them through. Good luck, kids!

Brook Lynn is questioned by the police about what went down in the park. After doing her time in the hot seat, she puts Drew there so she can grill him about his true feelings for his “friend” Carly.

Victor and Spencer circle one another warily, each throwing accusations at the other during a confrontation.

When Sonny is in need of comforting, Nina is there for him.

As “Sante” reaches a major crossroads, Dominic Zamprogna presses “paws” for a blissful afternoon with his girls.

Wednesday, August 31:

A certain name triggers a reaction from Ava, Anna is close to learning what Victor holds over Valentin, and Nikolas provides Liz with a shaky alibi.

Trina may have been exonerated by the jury, but that doesn’t mean her problems are gone. In fact, she’s now anxiously awaiting other news!

When Anna comes to an important conclusion, will it impact her future with Valentin? Speaking of the handsome Cassadine, he has a few pointed words for Lucy!

Finn isn’t so sure Nikolas’ motives are on the up-and-up. Might the doctor be wondering if old feelings are bubbling to the surface in Elizabeth’s ex-lover?

Things remain rocky between Sasha and Brando. Can these crazy kids find their way back to a loving place?

Thursday, September 1:

Ava wakes up to a face which frightens her, Valentin comes clean with Anna about Charlotte, and Liz tells Finn about her puzzling memory.

In recent weeks, Elizabeth has often pushed Finn away rather than let him help. But today, she actually opens up and confides in him.

Anna and Valentin strike a bargain. (Here’s hoping it is one which will allow them to continue their swoon-worthy romance!)

Drew needs someone to talk to, and Curtis is there for him. Meanwhile, Carly begins to second-guess her recent decision.

Victor finds himself having to answer questions put to him by Jordan. Or perhaps we should say he finds himself trying to avoid answering those questions!

Alum Briana Nicole Henry (ex-Jordan) shares too-sweet photos of the six-month-old who’s made life “more beautiful, chaotic, messy, terrifying and full of purpose.”

Friday, September 2:

Before heading to prison, a nightmare prompts Spencer to put his feelings down on paper, and Sonny catches Ava and Nina huddled in a secret conversation.

Are there fractures developing in the romance between Nina and Sonny? We may find out when he demands answers of his girlfriend!

Is Spencer’s nightmare a vision of things to come?

Josslyn is about to do something that will definitely catch Cameron off guard! (Does it have anything to do with the obvious sparks flying between her and Dex? Might she be why the poor guy winds up feeling disappointed today?)

When Willow makes a big decision, will she actually share it with Michael? Or is it the beginning of the end for their relationship?

Nicholas Alexander Chavez reveals how he’s doing as Spencer’s plunged into hell.

Week of September 5:

Monday, September 5:

With the trial behind them, Trina and her loved ones get ready to celebrate. Will the party thrown by Portia and Curtis go off without a hitch?

When Sasha gets bad news, will it send her into another dangerous spiral?

Brook Lynn has been known to push boundaries on occasion, so what causes Chase to say that she’s gone too far?

TJ doesn’t even realize that he’s providing Jordan with a clue which could prove extremely helpful.

Jon Lindstrom (Kevin/Ryan) is sent an impossible-to-ignore message — and wait till you see from whom!

Tuesday September 6:

Sonny makes Taggert an offer he can’t refuse. Oh, wait… our bad. Because as it turns out, Taggert does exactly that!

Cameron’s planning a special surprise for Josslyn.

They say you can never outrun your past, and Nina is about to face hers. But given just how complicated hers is, which particular aspect is coming back to haunt her?

Will Stella grant Portia and Curtis’ very special request?

Is there more to Willow’s dark nightmare than meets the eye?

Wednesday, September 7:

Everything’s coming up roses for Sam and Dante, who find themselves with an awful lot to celebrate. (Of course, having watched soaps for a long time, this could mean trouble is headed their way!)

Felicia’s spent time thinking over a particular puzzle, and she’s come up with a theory.

Having Cassadine blood running through her veins, Alexis is able to see right through Valentin! Meanwhile, Lucy could be getting in over her head as Victor flirts with her.

When Anna asks Robert for help, it’s hard to imagine him turning her down, given all they share.

Thursday, September 8:

It’s a battle of the titans as Sonny and Victor butt heads.

Will Britt be forthcoming when Maxie says that she wants answers, pronto?

As always, Felicia is Mac’s strongest supporter, offering him words of encouragement.

Jordan is more than simply a boss to Rory, explaining why he turns to her for advice. Meanwhile, Trina proves to have really, really bad timing.

Friday, September 9:

Who will be on the receiving end of the bad news Stella has to deliver?

Does Ned perhaps see a bit of himself in Chase, and might that be why he’s concerned about Brook Lynn’s relationship with the singing cop?

Nikolas might want to listen when Sonny shares his suspicions.

They haven’t always had the best of relationships, But Finn takes a moment to thank dad Gregory for being in his corner.

Talk about two people who could cause a whole lotta trouble together: Cody meets with Selina to make a proposition. Will she take him up on it, or perhaps see him as more trouble than he’s worth?

Jennifer’s secret isn’t so secret after one more person finds out about it.

Rafe has some important questions for Sloan about her client. And at that very moment, the client in question — Leo — is busy pleading his case.

Buckle in, Steve, because Jada is about to read you for filth!

Absolutely no good can come of this: Orpheus is about to pay Rolf a visit!

Thursday, September 8:

Kristen’s done playing games as she orders Rolf to wake Stefan up, pronto. But could she be making a huge mistake?

Gabi and Ava have been not-so-secretly plotting right there in the DiMera living room, so it shouldn’t surprise anyone that EJ confronts Shin’s girlfriend about her gal pal’s actions. Meanwhile, Li makes a move that can only be called “bold.

Friday, September 9:

Even as Johnny and EJ are butting heads over Ava, the beauty is having a very upsetting encounter in the DiMera crypt. Is she about to have another run-in with “Jake”?

When Li lays out the facts, will Gabi listen to what he has to say?

Apparently, Kristen is behaving oddly… even by Kristen standards. When Brady and Chloe ask Rachel’s mom a few questions, will they get a clearer picture of what’s going on?
