Kristen DiMera got a fresh start on Days of our Lives when she blackmailed the governor into pardoning her for so many crimes we can’t even keep track of them all. (We think this latest one was stabbing Victor Kiriakis, but really, it could have been any of them.)

There is no one that Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) loves more than herself, 68% of the audience feel obliged to point out. She makes noises about loving Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), about loving Rachel, about caring for her family.
But, in reality, whenever push comes to shove, she’ll give up all of them to protect herself, like when she gave up Rachel to go on the run in order to avoid prison. And that other time, she gave up Rachel to go on the run in order to avoid prison. Oh, and all the terrible things that she did that would put her in prison…rather than staying on the straight and narrow so that she can be with Rachel.
Days of our Lives: Baby Mine
Proving that you can fool some of the people some of the time, 25% of you are convinced that Kristen loves Rachel more than anything else. It’s why she blackmailed the governor! It’s why she’s suing for custody. It’s why she threatened Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) and why she’s turning her baby girl against Daddy’s new girlfriend. Because she loves Rachel SO much.
Is Kristen Using Rachel To Get Close To Brady?
A mere 7% of fans believe that Kristen loves Brady. You believe that she wants him. Especially since he’s with Chloe now. But love is something else. And Kristen wouldn’t even know what that looks like, much less how to give it.
