Weekly Spoilers: September 19-23, 2022

The Young and the Restless

When is a preview like a recap? When the future contains a massive nod to the past. Read on to find out which chapter of Nikki’s life story she’s forced to reread as well as who’s the recipient of a proposal, an ultimatum and a total shockeroo. And no, they’re not all the same person; that would be a lot. Jeez!

Friday, September 16:

Adam finds Nick in Sally’s room, and Nate makes a stunning offer to Victoria.

Nick knows a thing or two about playing with fire — as evidenced by that red-hot affair he had with Phyllis behind Sharon’s back. But are he and Sally really ready to face the consequences that could arise from their steamy relationship?

Lily and Devon thought it’d be awesome running a family business together… but they’re about to find out just how different they, and their management styles, really are!

Victoria’s been making some big moves of late, but the deal she strikes today might have a certain “with the devil”-ish quality to it.

Week of September 19:

Y&R Restless Rant! Hot topics: Sally’s big lie could come back to bite her, WTH is Nate thinking, Nikki/Deacon, trouble ahead for “Skyle” and more!

Monday, September 19:

Nope. Nick and Sally aren’t prepared at all for the world to discover that they’ve become more than mere colleagues, so they do their best to cover their tracks. Might also want to switch off the fire alarms while they’re at it, ’cause ya know, where there’s smoke and all… People might get suspicious.

No doubt as part of his plan to stage an “I redo” for his bride — on screen this time, thank you very much — Kyle shares a proposal with Summer.

When Phyllis falls into a trap, there’s every chance that it’s one of her own setting. She has a lot of enemies, but we’ll be damned if she doesn’t remain hell-bent on being her worst one.

Tuesday, September 20:

No textbooks will be required for this history lesson: Nikki receives a painful reminder about her past. Anybody else assume that the painful reminder rhymes with Leakin’ Carp.

Reason No. 204 why Victoria is so glad that Nick is working at Newman once again: It gives her someone trustworthy around to whom she can reveal her game plan.

Apparently, Smilin’ Jack isn’t smilin’ anymore. And Diane isn’t likely to be, either, when her babydaddy issues an ultimatum.

Wednesday, September 21:

When it rains, it pours. Only a day after Jack laid down the law to Diane, Victor pushes the “reformed” scheme queen’s buttons.

If Nate takes a big risk (and he does), it could yield a big reward, if only for viewers, who could be treated to the explosive start of a new feud to rival Victor and Jack’s. (Details on that here.)

The past crashes into the present when Nikki meets with Deacon Sharpe, a definite contender for the top spot on her long list of lousy ex-husbands. Will it worth it to her to see the scoundrel, who’s said to have turned over a new leaf (even as he’s harboring Sheila Carter on Bold & Beautiful)? Could be, if he provides her with the ammo she needs to run Diane out of town.

Thursday, September 22:

Well, this promises to be hilarious. When Phyllis and Diane are forced to play nice, the Marchetti staff ought to take bets on how long that can possibly last!

Sheesh! Noah has more ventures than we do socks! Today, he reveals his latest.

Maybe since Kyle and Summer make a shocking discovery, it’s Phyllis and Diane actually being civil to one another? It would sure shock us.

Friday, September 23:

Words like “enough” have no real meaning to Victor, so you’ll forgive us for not being surprised when he considers expanding his empire.

What Chelsea wants, Chelsea is gonna do her damnedest to get. In this case, that means forcing Victoria’s hand, most likely in her push to let Johnny and Connor know that they’re brothers.

Trevor St. John, is that you? Given that Nate meets a mysterious stranger, we’re going to go out on a limb and guess that indeed, the fellow bears more than a passing resemblance to the soap vet whose hiring has caused such a stir — and holds so much potential.

The Bold and the Beautiful

It’s a battle royale after Steffy’s actions set in motion confrontations between Taylor and Brooke and Hope and Thomas. Meanwhile, as one might expect, Sheila continues to prove to be a handful for Deacon to manage, which makes for a hairy day. Finally, after Bill leaves an encounter uncharacteristically mystified, he recovers nicely by issuing an unexpected invitation to a beautiful lady.

Friday, September 16:

Ridge confronts Brooke and Bill, Steffy plots, and Thomas seeks advice from Carter.

We told you!! Ridge returns home to find Brooke and Bill in an embrace. We’re now taking bets on how long it takes the fuming dressmaker to race over to Taylor’s and declare that she’s the woman for him.

We told you so, Part II: Clearly, Liam’s interference did make everything worse as Thomas asks Carter for legal advice as they work out at the Forrester gym. Could the query be about anything other than a custody challenge?

Week of September 19:

Monday, September 19:

Brooke sets up a surprise romantic evening to remind Ridge of their true love. Hmm… we hope this night has a better outcome than the time Brooke and Hope set up a surprise wedding for Liam. If you’ll recall, that came to an abrupt halt when Steffy showed up with Taylor to announce that she was carrying the groom’s baby!

Whoa! Steffy is going full-on scheme queen — watch out, Brooke! — and Jacqueline MacInnes Wood gives fans a preview of what’s ahead!

Ridge makes a demand of Thomas after reiterating his love for Brooke. Will the besotted fool ask his son to make concessions where Douglas is concerned to appease his lady love? If so, would Thomas be willing to do such a thing for dear ol’ Dad considering he’s firmly on Team Taylor?

Tuesday, September 20:

“Nobody knows the troubles I’ve seen, nobody knows my sorrow… ” Yep, Louis Armstrong’s song of lament would make the perfect background music for this teaser: Deacon has a difficult day handling Sheila. He shoulda called the cops on “Lina” when she was peeping in Steffy’s patio door. Period.

Whoop, there it is. Steffy puts the brakes on Brooke’s romantic night with Ridge. We just knew the evening wouldn’t go off without a hitch. And sure enough, the monkey wrench is tossed into the works by Finn’s wife, who has made it her mission in life in her 30s to reunite her parents.

Wednesday, September 21:

Fighters, back to your corners! Brooke and Taylor are unlikely to listen to our advice as they do battle once again — this time, over Steffy’s interference in Brooke’s life. Here’s hoping Douglas’ new paints are safely tucked away in a cupboard.

Bill describes Ridge’s reaction to finding Brooke in his arms to a stunned Wyatt and Liam. We can only assume we were right in guessing that the dressmaker reacted in the un-Ridge-iest way imaginable when he caught Brooke with Bill. Totally un-Ridge-alistic!

Thursday, September 22:

Li is charmed by Dollar Bill when he asks if he may join her for lunch at Il Giardino. Given that Sheila loves to lurk around Deacon’s place of employment in disguise, this sweet invitation could go all kinds of wrong!

Welp, so much for playing nice: Hope puts Thomas on blast for helping Steffy ruin Brooke’s plans with Ridge. Will this prove to be the turning point that sets Douglas’ parents on course for a nasty custody battle?!?

Friday, September 23:

We’re not sure this is the best play, but nonetheless, Taylor makes a substantial request of Ridge. Something tells us this is going to leave the flip-flopper once again caught between two women asking him to do two entirely different things. Will he side with the Forresters and risk his marriage or alienate his loved ones by aligning with the Logans?

Been there, done that, went over a cliff! The gloves are off in the Logan vs. Forrester war as Brooke hurls accusations against Thomas. Will the self-described “better man” be able to keep his cool, or will he call out his dad’s wife (and his biggest hater)?!?

General Hospital

Nikolas places a mysterious call, as Jordan and Dante are summoned to a crime scene — plus, Dex receives a stern reminder about who’s boss, Willow loses it and Valentin is forced to improvise!

Week of September 12:

Monday, September 12:

Jordan and Curtis both get shocking news, Cody and Ms. Wu strike a business arrangement, and Liz comes to a realization about Nikolas.

Who will be on the receiving end of the bad news Stella has to deliver?

Does Ned perhaps see a bit of himself in Chase, and might that be why he’s concerned about Brook Lynn’s relationship with the singing cop?

Nikolas might want to listen when Sonny shares his suspicions. Perhaps if they pooled their resources, they could neutralize the threat that Victor poses?

They haven’t always had the best of relationships, but Finn takes a moment to thank dad Gregory for being in his corner.

Talk about two people who could cause a whole lotta trouble together: Cody meets with Selina to make a proposition. Will she take him up on it or perhaps see him as more trouble than he’s worth?

Tuesday September 13:

The hook killer attacks again, Liz tells Ava the truth about Nikolas, and Carly’s plane must make an emergency landing.

As surely as a couple of ceiling fans switched on to “high,” Drew and Marshall clear the air.

When Portia visits Ava, will it be in a professional capacity, a personal one… or maybe both? After all, Trina’s mom, more than some people, is keenly invested in the recovery of the teen’s mentor.

Nikolas makes a mysterious call — but to solve an existing problem or create a new one? Actually, Nikolas being Nikolas, it could wind up being both at once.

Though Sasha makes a big decision, is she really in the right frame of mind to do so?

Someone is in grave danger. Could the hook be about to strike again?

Our hearts! Our hearts! They can’t take Wes Ramsey’s beautiful birthday message to Laura Wright.

Wednesday, September 14:

Brando’s life is on the line after being attacked by the hook-wielding assailant and is rushed into surgery. Plus, Carly finds herself stuck in her hometown of Jacksonville, Florida.

Carly’s travel plans, like so many of the best-laid ones, hit a snag.

How awkward will it be when former marrieds Drew and Sam discuss their relationships? Will they remain focused on the future or find themselves reflecting on the past?

Whether he cries “Eureka!” remains to be seen. In any case, Sonny makes a revelation.

Since Jordan and Dante are summoned to a crime scene, we’re going to guess that whoever was in grave danger is now one step closer to the grave!

Nikolas pleads his case. Which, given his tendency to make massive mistakes, he ought to be pretty good at. Will the person with whom he is pleading be open to what he has to say?

Thursday, September 15:

Brando experiences a complication during surgery, Sonny comes to a realization about the attacks, and Carly runs into someone from her past in Jacksonville.

Can they have run out of conversation starters so early in their romance? Must have if Trina talks to Rory about Spencer, of all people!

When Michael reminds Dex that he’s the boss, will the hot henchman fall in line… or consider switching allegiances?

Carly encounters an unfriendly face. Perhaps it’s the one that belongs to this returning blast from the past?

Understandable, considering all the stress that she’s under: Willow loses her temper.

When TJ offers an update on a patient, maybe, just maybe that patient is Willow. Could this be why she loses her temper?

Friday, September 16:

Sasha and Gladys sit with Brando after surgery, Jordan believes the attacks are connected to Sonny somehow, and Dante is suspicious of Dex.

If you can’t lean on your bestie, who can you lean on? That’s certainly Britt’s thinking when she confides in Brad.

Listen up, ’cause nine times out of 10 that Curtis voices his suspicions, he’s on the right track.

Well, this promises to be adorable! Cody and Leo bond. Just don’t let the moppet mix you any drinks, Cody!

Sonny disagrees with Jordan. Which you would think would happen even more often, considering that he’s a career criminal and she’s a sworn crime-fighter.

Uh-oh. If Dante is mistrustful of Dex, it seems likely that Michael’s mole is about to be found out.

Week of September 19:

Monday, September 19:

Like any good husband-to-be would, Curtis reassures Portia.

When Elizabeth uncovers more of her memories, we come one step closer to figuring out exactly what’s been going on with her.

Ah! Back to business as usual for BFFs Joss and Trina: Cameron’s girlfriend vents to her gal pal. Could he have done something to tick off his sweetheart?

Gregory issues an invitation to Alexis, one that, if he flashes that smile of his, we doubt she’ll be able to turn down.

Dex runs interference… but between whom? Could Sonny be about to find out that his new hire is actually on Michael’s payroll?

Tuesday September 20:

Port Charles comes together to mark the passing of one of their own, and Sonny finds himself reflecting on the loss of his dad, Mike.

Despite already having several personal and professional battles in progress, Carly finds time to take on yet another.

Stella is there when TJ needs someone in whom to confide.

Portia hopes that Finn might be able to offer her a bit of advice during their consultation.

Wednesday, September 21:

We always knew Curtis was a wise man, and he proves it by remaining wary of Selina. (Of course, a truly smart guy might have found a way to avoid becoming entangled with her in the first place… )

How will Valentin react when Anna tells him that things aren’t going quite as well as he hoped.

Two of the town’s most powerful men draw lines in the sand as Sonny issues a firm warning to Victor.

Lucy takes a perhaps surprisingly harsh stand toward Brook Lynn.

When Jordan gets new info, will it be a break in her investigation or news of yet another roadblock?

Thursday, September 22:

Victor continues the hard-court press where Lucy is concerned. But will he manage to impress the beauty?

When Liz comes to him with a request, will Kevin grant it?

Anna and Valentin have good reason to worry.

Although Maxie tends to look on the bright side of life, she’s about to realize something that will definitely turn her smile upside down. Likewise, Carly receives news that could only be classified as “bad.”

Friday, September 23:

Elizabeth’s story has been one of the most problematic on the canvas thanks to major pacing issues, but we may finally get major insight into what’s going on when she finds a clue linked to her past.

Valentin tends to be the kind of guy who likes to have a plan. But today, he’ll prove that he’s pretty good at improvising, when the need arises. Meanwhile, Lucy’s game of cat-and-mouse continues as she tries getting answers from Victor.

When Nikolas needs sound advice, he turns to Alexis, knowing she’s the most grounded member of his eccentric clan. Will she be able to point him in the right direction?

To whom is Sonny offering comfort… and how might him doing so impact others around him?

Days of Our Lives on Peacock

Several people are surprised by the return of a familiar face… including that person’s ex! Meanwhile, Kayla and Marlena await results, Steve confronts his nemesis, Leo gets desperate, and Chad may finally have solved his wife’s murder!

Week of September 12:

Monday, September 12:

Stefan rejects Gabi, Alex learns a lesson, EJ gets a shock, and Ava makes a literal move.

The soap’s first day on Peacock is going to be a big one for Gabi: She is stunned to come face to face with lost love Stefan. EJ, too, will find his jaw on the floor when he finds Ava and Johnny in a compromising position… yet again! And the shocks keep on coming as Chanel and Allie are left reeling by what Paulina shares with them.

Less surprising is the fact that Alex asks Stephanie to join him for a drink. Of course, should she say yes, than this will officially be as unexpected as all of the developments mentioned above!

Tuesday, September 13:

Things go downhill fast for Kate, Marlena and Kayla, and Rafe finally seems to be catching on to some unfortunate truths!

Somehow we doubt it will be a “Take two aspirin and call me in the morning” kinda situation when Marlena, Kayla and Kate all suddenly become ill. Wisely, Steve and John quickly put their heads together and begin hunting for Orpheus.

Poor Rafe can’t fight his nature. Being a detective, he likes to poke and prod and try to get to the bottom of things. But maybe he should take a different route where Nicole’s feelings for her ex are concerned. Will he like what she has to say?

Meanwhile, across town, something tells us that when Eric decides to open up to Jada, Nicole’s ears will be ringing… ’cause you just know her name is going to come up!

Wednesday, September 14:

Disaster strikes virtually all of Salem as Orpheus robs his victims of hope and Sarah is horrified anew by Xander.

Whelp, we knew that it would sooner or later — and this being a soap, were betting on sooner. Xander and Sarah’s state of wedded bliss comes to an abrupt halt.

No glasses needed as Orpheus’ true revenge on his enemies starts to become clear. Meanwhile, Rafe and Jada may be closing in on the bad guy. But can they get to him in time?

Nicole goes to Eric with an offer. And unfortunately for Rafe, she’s not there to cover a shift for her ex at the pub. How do we know? Because the offer is described as “enticing.” And good as the chowder is at the Brady Pub… we suspect something else is on her menu!

Thursday, September 15:

Kristen flings damning accusations at Chloe, who runs into Stefan.

Watch EJ’s blood pressure go through the roof when Gabi informs him that Stefan is alive.

Oh, look, Johnny is still managing to be an issue for Chanel and Allie. Today, the ladies wind up fighting about his relationship, for lack of a better word, with Ava. Chanel… are you perhaps jealous?

In the least surprising development ever, things quickly get really ugly at Rachel’s custody hearing. The only question is who’s flinging mud at whom!

On the anniversary of his first date with his future husband, Greg Rikaart (Leo) takes a photo-filled walk down memory lane.

Friday, September 16:

Stefan asks Chloe for another chance, and then entertains an offer from EJ. Plus, Johnny calls out Chanel’s double standard, and Brady connects the dots.

Well, I guess this answers the questions we ended yesterday’s teasers with: Serving up a reminder that there’s no low to which she won’t stoop, Kristen makes a shocking accusation against Brady.

Week of September 19:

Monday, September 19:

What really happened the night Sonny was attacked… and who was responsible? Chad and Will combine forces in the hope of helping Sonny remember the truth.

Things look bad for Leo… so bad that he has only one place left to turn. But is Gwen really in any position to help?

After overhearing a pretty damning conversation, Nancy can’t help but think she’s being cheated on again, this time by Clyde.

Xander turns to best bud Jack for a little advice as to how he should handle things with Sarah.

Tuesday, September 20:

Pretty much the last thing Nancy or Clyde expected — and honestly, we’d probably be on that list, too — is for her ex-husband, Craig to show up. What brings him back to Salem?

EJ and Stefan are never going to be pals… heck, they don’t even trust one another. But when EJ offers up a proposition, Stefan may have to admit that he’s intrigued. Meanwhile, Chad — always the last to know — finds out that Stefan is the latest local to rise from the grave. (Everybody does… except, it seems, poor, dead Abby.)

Leo thinks he knows who has been framing him, and shares the info with Gwen. (Of course, by doing so, he may have put her in danger if he’s right!)

Wednesday, September 21:

Remember years ago, when John and Kristen were an item? Given their long history, it’s not surprising that she’s able to push his buttons and cause him to lash out at the worst possible time.

Chloe must really be desperate if she’s asking Kate for a favor!

As Steve is busy confronting longtime nemesis Orpheus, Kayla and Marlena anxiously await the results of their bloodwork.

Thursday, September 22:

It looks as if Chad may finally have found the answer to the question he’s been posing for months: “Who really killed Abigail?”

Feeling terribly betrayed by his brother, Sonny lashes out at Alex.

Someone is about to catch Jennifer in the act, which can’t possibly be good!

How will Craig react when he and Leo cross paths for the first time since their almost-wedding? Heaven knows there’s a lot for them to unpack!

Friday, September 23:

Armed with his new theory about Abigail’s murder, Chad goes to see the one person he believes can confirm his suspicions: Sonny!

How will Brady react to the confession Chloe’s about to make?

Nicole and Eric come clean with each other.

Jada makes a stunning discovery.
