It’s still Halloween in Salem, which is bittersweet for Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn). This is his first time dressing up the children as a single dad, so it’s quite an emotional time. He helps his kids cope with the help of Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein). In turn, he helps her deal with getting fired by Paulina Price Carver (Jackée Harry).
Also giving Stephanie a helping hand is Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson). Does this have something to do with the folder he’s handed to Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) in the Kiriakis living room? It sure seems so! That’s not the only time Alex sees Maggie. They also run into each other later on when Maggie spies him handing out treats to candy shark Holly Jonas (Elin Alexander).
Watch for a few other tense meetings to take place at the Kiriakis mansion. Maggie and Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) exchange words. Is this about what she gave Alex, or is Victor grumpy about Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Sarah Horton Cook (Linsey Godfrey) showing up? It’s no secret Xander isn’t his favorite person right now.
