Does her latest story pass muster?
Diane Jenkins broke down and made what she claims is the latest full confession to Jack Abbott on The Young and the Restless. This version of the story involved her dating a rich man she expected to take care of her and becoming his unwitting cash mule before he was shipped off to prison.
Young and the Restless Polling
Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) found out about her unwitting misdeeds and blackmailed Diane (Susan Walters) into feeding him information on Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). Diane sounded so sad when she shared her story. But is she actually a victim?
Y&R Fault Line
Everything that has ever happened to Diane she has brought upon herself, 77% of you feel no qualms about loudly declaring. She is a bad person, and bad people attract bad things. She wanted to feel secure? She should have done like Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and married a bad man who’s a whiz at staying out of prison for all of his many, many crimes. Since she didn’t manage to do that, she deserves everything that came afterward.
Diane Jenkins: Tough Call
We’re not sure, 16% admit. Diane did sound genuinely scared and guilty over what she’d done. But, then again, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) called Diane a bunch of names. And if anyone knows a viper when they see one, it’s Phyllis. She kept saying that Diane was awful. So we were moved to believe her.
Sorry Seems To be the Hardest Word
Less than 7% of voters managed to summon up any sympathy for Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) mother. Those who did buy her version of events, that she had no idea what was going on until it was too late, and then only wanted to reunite with her son and meet her grandson, so she was willing to do whatever Tucker ordered — especially if it meant returning to Genoa City.
