Everyone in Salem suddenly has an opinion!
Whether you thought the Days of our Lives threesome of Alex Kiriakis, Allie Horton, and Chanel Dupree was the hottest thing to ever hit daytime or a colossal waste of time that didn’t move story along or mean anything, there is no question that the threesome was between the three people who participated in it — and not up to debate for the entire town.
Days of our Lives: Brotherly Concern
First, Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) decided to stick his nose into it. Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) told him about it as a way of boasting. The way brothers do. Sonny lost his mind. He went charging over to Allie (Lindsay Arnold) and Chanel’s (Raven Bowens), demanding to know if it was true. His justification was that Allie was his husband’s little sister. She is. But she is also an adult who can do whatever she wants…without running it by her extended family.
DOOL: Overheard
Allie was just confessing all to Sonny when Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) walked through the door. Now it was his turn to have an opinion. Unlike foaming at the mouth Sonny, Johnny was more amused…and juvenile about it. The puns and sarcasm flew. Once again, we feel a need to point out, nobody asked for your opinion.
Days of our Lives: Outside Voice
Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) was with Johnny, and she chimed in to express her support for Allie and Chanel’s experimentation. That’s nice, honey. Who asked you? We realize that Wendy was grateful for Allie and Chanel’s hospitality, giving her a place to stay, so she was being friendly and positive. But did it sound like Allie was looking for praise – or condemnation?
DAYS: The Older Generation
We can’t wait for this to make it all the way up the generational food chain to Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes). Julie always has an opinion on every little thing. She’s bound to have something to say about this. And, once again, it will be unsolicited.
