General Hospital Alum Briana Lane Is Celebrating Her Birthday

Here’s wishing her a very happy birthday!

General Hospital Briana Lane

When Briana Lane played the role of Brook Lynn Quartermaine, she was going through some rough times with her dad, her career, and having her throat slashed by Nelle Benson on General Hospital, but in real life Lane certainly has plenty of reason to celebrate.

Briana Lane Celebrates Her Birthday

That’s because the Los Angeles native was born on October 27, 1985, which means she’s turning 37 years old today! She received her BA in Theater from UCLA’s School of Film, Theater, and Television and got her first taste of daytime when she appeared as Hope’s (Kristian Alfonso) double on Days of our Lives back in 2006.

That wasn’t all that year brought for her. She played Julie on South of Nowhere and Teenage Girl in the video short, Universal Remote. From 2007-2008, she voiced several characters on the TV series Danny Bonaduce Life Coach, including the voices of Britney Spears, Amy Winehouse, and Paris Hilton.

From there, she made appearances on TV shows like Dirty Sexy Money, The Suite Life on Deck, Secret Girlfriend, The Whole Truth, and Gigantic. She also appeared in the films The Cellar, The Bannen Way, the TV movies Canned, and Bri Squared, in which she played Bri.

By 2012, more jobs followed, including the video Beverly Hills Chihuahua 3: Viva La Fiesta! as well as guest shots on TV shows like Switched At Birth, The New Normal, Hawaii Five-0, and Anger Management. She had recurring roles as Roxanne in 2014’s The Real Housewives of Horror, playing News Anchor on The Desk in 2015, and as Dr. Rounds on Young & Hungry the following year.

Plenty of more episodic roles followed with appearances on NCIS, Major Crimes, American Horror Story, American Housewife, and so much more but temporarily replacing Amanda Setton as Brook Lynn Quartermaine has certainly been the icing on the cake.

She made the role her own and kept her a vital part of Port Charles. Soap Hub wishes Briana Lane a very happy birthday.
