It certainly seems like a good time for Scott Baldwin’s daughter to come to town.
With Cody Bell claiming to be the son of Dominique Baldwin, the late wife of Scott Baldwin, it sure seems odd to not have Serena Baldwin, Scott’s daughter with his late wife who was carried by a now-missing-and-presumed-dead Lucy Coe, on General Hospital right now. Actor Kin Shriner was asked about that recently and gave some insight into the situation.
Kin Shriner Gives His Take
It was during the recent General Hospital Fantasy Events Zoom this past weekend with co-star Cynthia Watros (Nina Reeves), that Shriner was asked the question by one attendee, Allyson, if we would ever see his character’s daughter back because she’s so needed.
“Yes, we saw her grown up when we did the memorial when Lee Baldwin [Peter Hansen] passed away, she came in and did a couple of shows. She was very well received. I don’t know. I know that the actress Carly [Schroeder] went into the military, and she advanced very quickly and very competitively.”
He then went on to reveal a fact many may not know. “You know, I plucked her off a commercial in Indiana to play my daughter way back [she started in 1997]. After Port Charles, she went on to become a movie star. She starred in about five movies and did really well, but then she followed in her real father’s footsteps and went into the military.
“If they were to bring Serena back,” continued Shriner, “I don’t know how or what…if they could bring her back or if they’d have to bring in a different Serena, but yeah, the character would be a great character for Lucy [Lynn Herring] to have — however they want to do it, it would be fun.”
Certainly, with Cody (Josh Kelly) on the scene, Port Charles definitely seems ready to have back the sister he’s furious at for giving away their mother’s fortune when he so desperately wanted a piece of it. Will General Hospital bring this pivotal character back? Stay tuned.
