Enough already! Sarah Horton had her life stolen from her by whack job Kristen DiMera all because Sarah realized she was back in town and on the loose. Sure, being too smart for her own good can sometimes be a problem on soaps, but hasn’t Sarah — as well as Xander Cook and Days of our Lives viewers — suffered enough?
Bring Sarah Back on Days of our Lives
The sad part is, no one had really noticed she’s missing. Sure, Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) is top-notch at snatching phones and texting loved ones of people she’s either impersonated or imprisoned (often both), but surely Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) has wondered why Sarah wouldn’t return to town after her sister Summer (Marie Wilson) passed away! Sarah’s not a deadbeat daughter!
What about her job working alongside Dr. Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans)? Did a disguised Kristen bother to take the time to write up a proper resignation letter that didn’t set off any alarm bells? Really? While we’re grateful Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) has returned and will inevitably spill the beans that he hasn’t been with Sarah all this time, will it really cause anyone to worry?
The way this Days of our Lives crowd is, it’s a wonder Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) was ever rescued. No one worried about her either when she went missing. Doesn’t anyone care about their loved ones enough to try calling? Alas, another casualty of a text-only society, we suppose. That’s good for Kristen, bad for poor Sarah.
She had a very full life when she was in Salem — a mother who loved her, friends who care about her, and Xander (Paul Telfer) who loved her with all his heart. We know Kristen is a DiMera and therefore she has to be good at being bad, but isn’t it time that someone as resourceful as Sarah finds a way to escape and return home? Salem needs her. Xander needs her. Maggie needs her. OK, we the viewers need her too. Could she be our Christmas miracle this year?
