Is Thomas Forrester crafty, evil, or just misunderstood?
Thomas Forrester appeared to have turned his life around on The Bold and the Beautiful. Lately, however, his more manipulative side has resurfaced, and a calculating Thomas is a dangerous Thomas, as B&B viewers can attest.
Bold and the Beautiful — Bad Thomas
We were pretty certain that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) wasn’t guilty of calling Child Protective Services on Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) even though, in her opinion, he was wielding his pocketknife in an unsafe manner. It turned out to be Thomas who set in motion events that led his father, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), to dump his wife. Is Thomas mentally unstable again — or is he extraordinarily crafty in getting what he wants?
The Forrester Heir Needs Professional Help
Most of you, a bit over 63%, believe that Thomas has suffered a mental relapse. Perhaps he hit his head, or the surgery he had done on his brain got undone. Either way, you don’t see Thomas as manipulative but rather unwell.
How else to explain the heartache he’s caused his stepmother? If nothing else, Thomas hasn’t learned that his schemes are usually found out. If he were truly crafty, he’d be five steps ahead of his adversaries instead of just one or two.
Doubting Bold and the Beautiful Thomas
Some of you, about 23%, say that Thomas may be slipping back into his old ways, but you don’t think he’s done so much that’s going to make people suspicious about him. Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) is certainly on his side.
As long as Thomas doesn’t start talking to the Hope mannequin or threatening Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri), he can probably claim innocence and get away with it once the whole voice app debacle comes to light.
Mean, Mean, Mean
The rest of you, under 14%, say that Thomas hasn’t lost his mind. You think instead that he’s just not a nice person. He’s calculating and cruel, and someday, Bridge fans are hoping, he’ll be caught, too. We expect several relationship dynamics to change on the show before that occurs.
