Recently on The Young and the Restless, Chelsea Lawson lost all hope after many months of spiraling deeper into depression and anxiety. She got to the point where she felt she had no reason to live, and she nearly took her life. Melissa Claire Egan explained how she felt portraying this dark storyline.

Melissa Claire Egan Reveals Feelings On Chelsea’s Storyline

Egan shared a photo of herself as Chelsea with tears in her eyes, which you can check out below, with the following caption. “This storyline has been, and continues to be, one of the most humbling and important experiences of my life. I’m grateful and honored to be able to tell this story, hopefully in a respectful and responsible way.
