Days of our Lives Comings and Goings: Backstreet Boy Visits Salem

The week of November 29, 2021
Former member of the 1990s pop group Backstreet Boys, AJ McLean, turns up as a driver on Thursday, December 2. He’ll appear in scenes with Tamara Braun’s Ava Vitali and Emily O’Brien Gwen Rizczech, as the duo help the incarcerated Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) escape.

Also mixed up in the jailbreak will be Christopher Matthew, who portrays a prison employee. He’ll interact in scenes with McLean.

Noel Guglielmi begins a recurring stint as Jason on Tuesday, November 30. The character is guarding the abducted Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney). Guglielmi is best known for his role as Hector in the 2015-2020 primetime series Fresh Off the Boat.

Days of our Lives History

DAYS made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.

From Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) crazy schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more.
