When Austin Gatlin-Holt first showed up on General Hospital to deliver Maxie Jones’s baby in the woods, we didn’t know who he was or what he wanted. Now, we supposedly know that he is the son of Jimmy Lee Holt, the illegitimate son of Edward Quartermaine.

But we’re still not sure what he wants in Port Charles. We know that he has a secret. And here are the top possibilities for what it is:
Liar, Liar
He’s not really a Quartermaine, 63% of the audience asserts. Has anyone actually spoken to Jimmy Lee to confirm? He was pretty much bounced from the family in the 1980s and hardly mentioned again (same as the Ward branch of the family was in the 1990s), so it’s entirely possible that no one has been in touch enough to confirm or reject Austin’s story. Meanwhile, he’s walking around town, voting at ELQ board meetings, and making himself at home. Do some research, folks!

The only way to have a storyline on GH is to be in the mob, 36% of you point out, which is why it’s reasonable that you’d want Austin (Roger Howarth) to be a member of the profession. We don’t know if he’s Team Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), Team Selina Wu (Lydia Look), or Team Jerome – remember then? – but, either way, now we can count on actually seeing him get some action!
Mesmerizing
He’s a vampire, 1% of General Hospital voters proclaim. What? Can you think of another reason why he managed to convince every single person in town that he does NOT look exactly like the artist, Franco Baldwin… or that visitor from Llanview, Todd Manning? The only reasonable explanation is that he is a member of the undead AND that he can compel all those around him, especially Elizabeth Webber Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), not to notice the resemblance.
