The Young and the Restless
That’s not just a stiff breeze you feel, that’s the winds of change blowing, Chelsea embarks on a new adventure, Nick makes a big announcement, Victor puts a hard-fought battle in rear-view, and Diane does the last thing that anyone thought she’d be able to do.
Friday, July 8:
Adam and Ashland both want revenge, Chelsea has an idea for Billy, Jack advises Sally, and Nick decides he’ll return to Newman.
Nikki demands answers from Jack. Which we can only assume means that she also gets answers from Jack, because really, who can say no to Victor’s formidable missus?
Trouble in paradise? When Sally questions her future with Adam, will she decide that she doesn’t actually have one? Or will “Ally” emerge stronger than ever?
Sharon points Nick in the right direction. Hmm… But does that mean “in the right direction for him” or only what seems like the right direction for him… to her?
Week of July 11:
Y&R Restless Rant! Hot topics: Adam and Ashland team up for revenge, Phyllis snaps, Chelsea eyes Lily’s man, Imani’s deception and more.
Monday, July 11:
When Victor gives Michael a challenging assignment, we have no doubt that he’ll rise to the occasion. The question is, how down and/or dirty will completing the mission require him to get? Longtime viewers will recall that, historically speaking, there isn’t a low to which he won’t stoop! (Don’t believe it?)
If Victoria makes a power move, we have a sneaking suspicion it won’t be one Adam will appreciate. Will these two ever get to the point where they can play nice, given they’re on the same team?
Billy’s podcast might finally get interesting when he uses his platform for revenge. The downside for him? What will be the repercussions of his lashing out? The downside for us? Erm, none. We’d much rather watch him getting even than getting philosophical!
Tuesday, July 12:
Let us guess. When Nikki gives Summer a warning, it will be regarding her back-from-the-dead mother-in-law. But Kyle’s wife has already heard all about Diane and her lifetime of misdeeds. Is there anything that Nikki can say that would really open her eyes to the danger that Diane represents?
There’s that “Never say die!” attitude we love so much in Phyllis. Putting her missteps behind her, she develops a new strategy against Diane. Can’t wait to see what it is, because honestly, what hasn’t she already tried?
As Nick makes a surprising announcement, at least we know one thing that it definitely won’t be.
Wednesday, July 13:
Careful, Victor. The remake isn’t always better than the original. Nonetheless, The Mustache considers a reboot at Newman (and with it, no doubt, another round of musical CEOs).
Nate falls into a trap. Which sounds unfortunate… until you consider that it might be one of the sexy variety set by Imani. That would be terrible for Nate’s relationship with Elena but potentially deliciously juicy drama for us!
This could be just what she needs! Chelsea takes on a new venture — presumably a new job working for Kyle and Summer and Marchetti.
Thursday, July 14:
Victor has waited a long time for this day to come, and at last, it’s arrived. Raise a glass of bubbly with the Black Knight as he celebrates Ashland’s defeat and removal from the chess board.
Reason No. 2,103 why we love “Ally”: Adam makes a sacrifice to help Sally. That’s pulling together, kids. And a sure way to safeguard against being broken apart.
Renowned advice-dispenser Sharon helps Noah with a tough decision. Wonder if it could have something to do with his deepening feelings for Allie? It’s more likely to be that than whether or not he should order a croissant or a muffin to go with his coffee.
Friday, July 15:
When Nikki and Michael share a difference of opinion, it can only be regarding Diane. Since Mrs. Newman’s feelings about the lady Lazarus are utterly unchangeable, should Victor’s right-hand man even bother pleading his case?
It’s not easy to pull the wool over Lily’s eyes. And she’s certainly right to be suspicious of Imani. But that doesn’t mean that Lily will be able to get the goods on the bad girl, now does it?
All of Genoa City is talk, talk, talking about Diane. Meanwhile, she remembers that actions speak more loudly than words and proves herself to Kyle. Cue reactions from Phyllis and Nikki in three, two…
The Bold and the Beautiful
The fur must have been cleared for takeoff, because it’s about to fly! Quinn lights into Donna over her affair with Eric, Sheila’s determination to keep Finn in her clutches just might be the death of him (yes, again), and Deacon makes a connection with just about the last woman you’d expect. Will it turn out to be a love connection, though? That remains to be seen.
Friday, July 8:
While Carter and Quinn discuss the future, Eric makes an announcement to family and friends — plus, Taylor reacts to Ridge’s news.
Get your bikinis, girls! Eric announces Donna’s return to Forrester at a summer party with friends and family. Given the recent shenanigans surrounding the fam jam, we can’t wait to see who makes the guest list, what drama will break out and most importantly, who will throw whom into the pool?!
Oh, lookie! It could be Taylor and Brooke who end up playing dunk tank at the party when Ridge has a difficult conversation with Doc about his choice to embrace his “destiny” with the blonde.
Returning! Bold & Beautiful brings back a character who will have something to say about the ‘Deric’ reunion… and we can’t wait!
Week of July 11:
Monday, July 11:
Called it! We speculated that Taylor and Deacon might get together should “Bridge” reunite, and now we’ve learned that Doc will question the reformed con for information about Sheila before spilling the tea about Ridge and Brooke. All the best relationships — and certainly the most exciting ones — start with a good grilling… right?!
Finn’s pretty smart, given that he’s a doctor and all, so he may just succeed when, in an attempt to escape his captivity, Sheila’s son plays a trick on her. But the wily she-devil is a hard cookie to crumble, to understate the matter, and has Mike at her beck and call to boot. Will the desperate husband and father be able to make a getaway and take the first step on his long journey to reunite with Steffy, Hayes and Kelly — or remain under lock and key?!
Tuesday, July 12:
When Brooke and Ridge receive interesting news from Deputy Chief Baker, where will it leave them in the quest to find out Sheila’s whereabouts and bring her back to face justice? Has Li’s vehicle been discovered? If so, will the hot-dog-munching Deputy Chief and Steffy’s dad start connecting the dots?
Finn is stunned when he realizes that Sheila has a partner in crime. Yeah, we thought Mike might prove to be a hurdle he wouldn’t be able to get over. Perhaps the good doctor can play on his mother’s devoted sidekick’s sympathies and get some wiggle room to make a break for it?
Wednesday, July 13:
Donna was relieved when Quinn didn’t have a go at her in the bungalow after discovering her in bed with Eric, but that reprieve is about to come to an end. Watch for the blonde to be hella intimidated when the spurned wife finally confronts her about her affair with the renowned martini maker and newly re-anointed Honey Bear.
The saying goes, “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.” And that’s exactly what Finn’s about to do, using the element of surprise to his advantage and startling Sheila when he begins to fight back. How will the deranged woman handle her son’s newfound resolve to be rid of her? We’re not sure we want to know!
Thursday, July 14:
Things take a turn to the macabre, and Finn realizes just how twisted Sheila is, when she shows him his death certificate. We’re betting he “gets” his wife Steffy’s reaction to his bio mom showing up on their wedding day all too clearly now. This oughta be an “I told ya so!” for the ages.
The horror!! Sheila panics, fearing that she’s gone too far and actually killed Finn this time. Can the resilient doctor bounce back after yet another inadvertent attempt on his life by the unhinged woman who birthed him?
Friday, July 15:
It sounds like Mike will see the light where Sheila’s concerned as he turns on her and argues that it’s time for her to turn herself in. Is there any chance that the bonkers brunette will actually listen to her right-hand man instead of the voices in her head? Or will her downfall come from the last place she expected?
How often does commiseration turn to love (or at least attraction) on soaps? Quite a lot actually! Will that be the case when Taylor throws caution to the wind and shares with Deacon her feelings about Brooke and Ridge? We kinda hope so!
General Hospital
Cody interrupts a couple’s fun time at the Quartermaine stables, as Laura voices her concern over Anna and Valentin’s relationship — plus, Alexis and Gregory get into a sparring match and a new person of interest arrives at the Metro Court pool, and Sonny tells Dante about the latest blowout.
Week of July 4:
Monday, July 4:
Due to the holiday, an encore of the soap’s Wednesday, November 24, 2021, episode will air.
Tuesday, July 5:
Drew makes Nina a tempting business offer, Sasha’s segment on Home & Heart goes south quickly, and Cody solidifies his plans.
Who doesn’t like a good proposition? When Drew approaches Nina with one, will she accept? (And no, Sonny doesn’t have to worry… this is a business proposal!) Meanwhile, when Carly crosses paths with Sonny, she does her best to be evasive. Will he figure out what she’s trying to keep from him?
Spencer and Cameron’s attempt to help Trina gets underway… only to rather quickly go awry! Things also don’t go at all as planned when the Deception crew arrives for Sasha’s appearance on the Home & Heart Channel!
Cody’s having a nice evening with Dante and Rocco (now being played by Finn Carr)… until the newcomer catches a glimpse of Spinelli? Now why does that bother him so?
Wednesday, July 6:
Things go from bad to worse during Sasha’s live TV performance, someone surprising saves Deception from a lawsuit, and Carly turns down Sonny’s offer of help.
In the aftermath of Sasha’s recent behavior, Brando finds himself making what has to be a terribly difficult decision.
Sonny can tell that something’s wrong… but will Nina be able to tell him what it is?
Michael and Willow are enjoying time at the Quartermaine stables when they’re interrupted by Cody.
Britt is surprised by what she receives while talking to Kevin.
Drew tries to explain things to Carly. But given how often she hears what she wants to hear, that could prove to be a real challenge.
Thursday, July 7:
Valentin threatens to cut Victor’s throat after he makes a subtle threat, Kevin realizes Liz’s parents are a trigger for her, and Laura gives Anna advice about Valentin.
Finn’s pretty sure he’s right, but Chase refuses to co-sign on what his big brother is saying. Meanwhile, Ned’s pretty sure he knows exactly what’s got Brook Lynn so upset.
Alexis wants to know why Gregory hasn’t risen to the challenge she laid before him. (Frankly, we’re pretty sure we know why: The show’s increasingly problematic pacing!)
Anna and Valentin seem to finally be moving forward in their romance, but Laura’s a bit concerned about her friend’s relationship. One reason? Victor’s influence on his son. And guess what? Even as Laura is voicing her concern, we’ll give you one guess who Valentin is meeting with in the park!
Elizabeth may be caught off guard when she sees who Kevin has brought to visit her. Meanwhile, her portrayer, Rebecca Herbst, has taken to Twitter in order to address a few rumors about her status with the soap.
Friday, July 8:
Valentin fails to carry out Victor’s latest orders, Liz checks herself out and tries to return to work, and Chase agrees to Brook Lynn’s plan to make him a pop star.
Ned and Olivia find themselves on the opposite end of another topic. This time around, it’s newcomer Cody who has them seeing things differently.
Whose arrival derails Britt and Terry’s attempt to bond while discussing everything from their jobs to their dating prospects?
Having caught at least a bit of Anna’s phone call, Victor wants to know more about what he heard. Meanwhile, Laura can’t help but be worried about the request she received from Valentin. Is she about to get caught up in a Cassadine family feud?
When Brook Lynn and Chase agree that it’s time they have a conversation, will they finally realize just how right they are for one another and stop with all this delaying nonsense?
For Alexis, verbal sparring is practically a mating call. Here’s hoping that when Gregory steps into the ring with her, he’s able to keep up!
Week of July 11:
Monday, July 11:
When July 4th arrives in Port Charles a few days late, something tells us the real fireworks won’t be up in the sky.
Valentin will be caught off guard by Nina’s reaction.
A friend in need finds that Olivia is a friend, indeed. Or at least she tries to be!
A conversation with Sonny leaves Spencer seeing things from a different perspective.
Dante and Cody reflect on old times… or at least they do until the newcomer finds himself distracted by someone else’s arrival!
Austin and Maxie are having a romantic picnic in the park… until Britt arrives. And, just to make things even more awkward, Spinelli soon follows!
Michael and Willow’s holiday is about to get majorly derailed.
Tuesday, July 12:
When Trina is dealt a distraction just as her trial is about to begin, will it prove to be exactly what she needs or simply more trouble? At the same time, Portia worries about her daughter, hoping that Curtis and Marshall’s efforts to find something, anything, to clear Trina’s name will prove successful.
Carly won’t be feeling particularly welcoming of the person who comes to see her. Meanwhile, the people in her life — including Drew, Olivia and Sonny — find themselves trying to piece together exactly what happened.
Brando is desperate to convince Sasha she needs to get help. But all she can think about is the fallout from recent events.
Wednesday, July 13:
It’s the day of Trina’s trial, and things get off to an interesting start thanks to an unexpected change. Thankfully, Laura, Portia and Josslyn are rallying around Trina. Across town, Curtis and Marshall are closing in on a lead…
Does Esme have good reason to be concerned where Spencer is concerned?
Upset with his son, Victor decides to prove himself the truth patriarch of the Cassadine clan by taking matters into his own hands.
Is there any hope where Nikolas and Ava’s marriage is concerned? It’s seeming unlikely, but he does his darnedest to reconnect with her.
Thursday, July 14:
The timing isn’t perfect, but Laura realizes she’s going to have to leave some of her family temporarily in order to take care of her mom.
Josslyn insists that it’s time for Trina to reveal her alibi. Meanwhile, Curtis and Marshall find themselves with nothing to do but talk about the past while in a holding pattern.
The tables will turn when Esme is the one caught off guard.
Carly has a difficult time saying farewell.
What are Nina’s true motivations? That’s exactly what Sonny wants to know!
Friday, July 15:
For months, Spencer has been secretly plotting to help Trina get out from under Esme’s thumb. When he puts his plan in motion today, will he be successful?
When going a few rounds with his son at the gym, Sonny winds up sharing that he and Nina had a bit of a tiff over — what else? — Carly.
Try as he might to relax while hanging with TJ in the steam room, all Brando can do is fret about Sasha.
When Nina has an unexpected encounter at the cemetery, will it be of the supernatural kind? (Given how many folks in this town have risen from the dead, it certainly seems likely!)
Days of Our Lives
Lucas and Sami’s wedding day kicks off… and it somehow all winds up with the bride seeking vengeance! Meanwhile, Chad tries getting answers where his beloved wife’s murder is concerned, and Nicole is called out on her feelings for someone other than her new hubby!
Week of July 11:
Monday, July 11:
It’s Lucas and Sami’s wedding day, but there’s definitely trouble brewing. For one thing, the realization of what day it is leaves EJ fuming. Meanwhile, Lucas — who has been dealing with a whole lot of guilt ever since falling off the wagon and doing… well, who knows what — decides confession (to son Will) might be good for the soul. And then there’s Kate, who knows a very big secret and has a slip of the tongue while talking to Chad!
Nicole may be married to Rafe, but Allie’s pretty sure that another man holds the beauty’s heart. When Allie does a bit of prying, will Nicole admit she truly loves Eric?
Today, the first episode of Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem‘s second chapter kicks off.
Tuesday, July 12:
Chad’s been reeling ever since Abigail’s murder, and we suspect that the realization he makes today about his wife’s killer won’t make him feel better.
Ah, siblings. They’ll fight about anything, right? Of course, in the case of Johnny and Allie, they have something very special at stake: Chanel’s heart!
Get the popcorn, because Sami and Lucas are about to walk down the aisle. (But if she’s about to marry Lucas, why are sparks flying between her and EJ only moments before the ceremony?)
Wednesday, July 13:
Although Sami is about to have her entire life upended, we’re sure she’ll handle it in a calm, cool fashion. After all, isn’t that how Sami usually handles things? No? Er… never mind.
Belle’s husband just had a baby with Jan, and EJ’s true love is marrying Sami. Fortunately, Belle and EJ know that misery makes company. Will their commiseration lead to something more?
By day’s end (or should we say Days‘ end), he’ll make a shocking accusation. But is his accusatory finger pointing at the actual guilty party?
Thursday, July 14:
With someone having been arrested for Abigail’s murder, Chad hopes to confront the supposedly-guilty party and get answers.
Eric has a bit of news to share, and it’s going to rock Nicole’s world.
Sami and EJ have had some knock-down, drag-out fights over the years, and the one they have today promises to be just as explosive!
Friday, July 15:
As usual, Kate finds herself less-than-pleased with what son Lucas has in mind. Can she talk him out of his latest plot?
Here are three absolutely terrifying words: Sami gets revenge.
When Shawn’s in jeopardy, Steve and Kayla come to his rescue. At the same time, Brady and Chloe are trying to give Belle a bit of helpful advice.
Week of July 18:
Monday, July 18:
Chad and EJ haven’t always had the best of relationships. Yet for some reason, EJ is the one that Chad feels the need to confide in. But about what?
Tuesday, July 19:
Rafe gets an assist from a potential new hire, Jada Hunter and you can meet the primetime vet who’s bringing her arresting presence to Salem.
Wednesday, July 20:
It’s Xander and Sarah’s wedding day! And while that seems like a cause for celebration, this is, after all, Salem… so we probably shouldn’t be surprised to hear that the ceremony will be interrupted!
When Lucas begins to have new memory flashes about the night Abigail died, will it indicate that he committed the crime… or perhaps lead him to realizing who the real culprit was?
Thursday, July 21:
Generally speaking, people don’t seem all that thrilled to run into Evan. But Kristen finds their encounter to be downright fortuitous.
Friday, July 22:
Here we go again! It seems at least once every year or two, a collection of bad guys descend upon the town of Salem. Who’ll be among the ragtag crew of baddies doing so this week?
And stay tuned next week for Days of Our Lives' next chapter of Beyond Salem: Chapter 2, July 11-15, 2022!!!!!!!!
