Weekly Spoilers: July 4-8, 2022

The Young and the Restless

Jack and Nikki take turns doling out advice, Phyllis is forced to ask herself, “What was I thinking?” Victor has a lightbulb moment where Ashland is concerned, and Sharon offers Nick what just may be the guidance that he needs.

Friday, July 1:

Victoria decimates Ashland, Chelsea opens up to Billy, and Sally prepares to pitch to Chloe.

Victor does what might very well be his favorite thing in the world when he gives Adam an ultimatum. Will the black sheep of the Newman family do his father’s bidding… or perhaps draw a line in the sand?

Things have been pretty tense between Chelsea and Chloe over the past few weeks, and the lid is about to blow right off the kettle as those tensions boil over.

Will the shocking discovery that Ashland makes be something he can use to his favor, or will it drive a final nail into the coffin in which Victor would love to see his and Victoria’s marriage wind up?

Week of July 4:

Y&R Restless Rant! Hot topics: Is Ashland leaving Young & Restless? What’s next for Adam? Plus, Chelsea and Chloe’s break up, Tessa’s crisis, Phyllis and Jack and more.

Monday, July 4:

Allie sure went to the right place! If anyone can help her with an important decision, it’s grandfather Jack, who hasn’t just seen it all, he’s been through it all.

Ruh-roh. Guess there are some things that even chamomile tea can’t make better. But when Tessa’s career suffers a setback, will it be a — gulp — permanent one?

Summer is given a reminder that no good deed goes unpunished when her plan to help Phyllis backfires. Sometimes the best way to lend a hand is by… well, butting out.

Tuesday, July 5:

Nick and Billy question Victoria’s secrecy, and we don’t blame ’em a bit. At the same time, we have no doubt that she’ll manage to keep her brother and ex-husband so in the dark that they feel like they’re fumbling for the light switch!

Lily is fast becoming one of Genoa City’s most successful movers and shakers, so it probably won’t shock anyone when the exec considers expanding her portfolio. The question is, what acquisition is she considering making?

Ashland covers his tracks about as often as we go for a coffee refill — in other words, a lot. So wanna take a guess what he’s up to today? We’ll give you a hint: It rhymes with “lovering is lax.”

Wednesday, July 6:

Despite Ashland’s efforts only a day earlier, Victor connects the dots about his nemesis. But considering how much dirt has already been dug up on the Locke Ness Monster, how many dots can there be left to connect?

Regrets, Phyllis has had a few. So you can’t blame her for carving out a little time to rue decisions that she made and only wishes she could unmake.

Nick and Chloe receive intriguing invitations. To what, though? And from whom? And most importantly, where’s ours? We promise not to start another conga line. At least we promise to try not to start one.

Thursday, July 7:

Whether a whip and a chair are required, we won’t know until the episode airs. But we do know that Victor keeps Adam in line. Come to think of it, that could be a full-time job!

Careful, Chelsea and Chloe. Their friendships is on fragile ground, so they may want to make an extra effort to tread lightly where each other is concerned.

With Nick’s future as up in the air as the clouds, Nikki gives her son some much-needed perspective. We’d be happy to help, too. Maybe he can get a better handle on where he’s going if he reflects for a moment on where he’s been.

Friday, July 8:

Nikki demands answers from Jack. Which we can only assume means that she also gets answers from Jack, because really, who can say no to Victor’s formidable missus?

Trouble in paradise? When Sally questions her future with Adam, will she decide that she doesn’t actually have one? Or will “Ally” emerge stronger than ever?

Sharon points Nick in the right direction. Hmm… But does that mean “in the right direction for him” or only what seems like the right direction for him… to her?

The Bold and the Beautiful

Destiny schmestiny! Ridge and Taylor band together to ensure that Sheila doesn’t escape the fate that she so richly deserves, Carter and Paris’ wedding day hurtles toward a conclusion that neither the bride nor the groom saw coming, and Finn takes his first steps toward reuniting with Steffy and their family.

Friday, July 1:

After crashing Carter’s wedding, Quinn recites her own vows to the man she loves — and everyone is stunned by his reaction! Plus, Donna spreads the good news about her relationship with Eric…

An elated Donna shares her good news about Eric with Katie.

There’s nothing better than a wedding crasher on a soap! What will go down after Quinn’s startling admission stuns Carter and rattles Paris and Grace?! Will the usually upstanding COO follow through on the pledge he made to his fiancée or gift Mama Buckingham with an “I told you so” moment that will validate the considerable concerns she’s been very vocally expressing all along?

Week of July 4:

Monday, July 4:

Partners in crime once again! Mike can’t resist Sheila’s request to help with Finn as they reflect on some of their best moments together. What a hair-raising trip through time that’s bound to be!

OK, we can’t wait to see what the outcome is as Paris, Carter and Quinn reach an unexpected ending to an emotional day. “Unexpected” can mean a lot of things. It was expected that Carter would marry Paris, so does he not? Will he declare that he wants Quinn, or will Paris pull a runaway bride after realizing she’s not the woman in the room that her groom truly loves?! Heck, maybe Grace will drag Zende up to the altar and strong-arm her daughter into marrying him instead!

Tuesday, July 5:

Overseas, Steffy gets sentimental as she remembers loving memories with Finn, and we can’t help but wonder if she’ll pull up our photo album of “Sinn’s” love story so as to look back on their entire romantic journey.

So deep! Finn and Steffy share a cosmic connection as Sheila fights to save her son’s life. Will the grieving widow begin to sense on some level that her husband isn’t really gone?! Maybe it will dawn on her that he’s still got a pulse when she notices him in our photo gallery of characters that cheated death.

Wednesday, July 6:

Ridge and Taylor make a vow not to allow Sheila to escape justice. But that may prove a difficult promise to keep, at least not without spending a lot of time together hunting the fugitive down. What will Brooke think of this new development? We’re guessing she’ll have a few choice words!

Well, poor, dead Li must have been doing something right because Finn finally awakens — only to be startled by his surroundings and situation. We can only assume he’ll be staring directly into the face of the woman who shot him — Sheila — and her loyal sidekick, Mike. The big question is: Will Finn’s memory be intact?

Thursday, July 7:

Jack visits Taylor and Thomas in hopes of getting info about Li and Finn. Like Steffy and Sheila before him, he must be curious to know what his estranged wife has done with their son’s ashes. Hoo boy, he has no idea what shockers lie in store in the journey ahead!

This might prove to be an impossible task to say the least: Sheila attempts to keep Finn calm as his memory comes flooding back. How will the disoriented doctor react when realization dawns that he’s under the care of his psycho birth mother, who held his wife at gunpoint and shot him when he intervened?!

Friday, July 8:

Get your bikinis, girls! Eric announces Donna’s return to Forrester at a summer party with friends and family. Given the recent shenanigans surrounding the fam jam, we can’t wait to see who makes the guest list, what drama will break out and most importantly, who will throw whom into the pool?!

Oh, lookie! It could be Taylor and Brooke who end up playing dunk tank at the party when Ridge has a difficult conversation with Doc about his choice to embrace his “destiny” with the blonde.

Week of July 11:

Monday, July 11:

Called it! We speculated that Taylor and Deacon might get together should “Bridge” reunite, and now we’ve learned that Doc will question the reformed con for information about Sheila before spilling the tea about Ridge and Brooke. All the best relationships — and certainly the most exciting — start with a good grilling… right?!

Finn’s pretty smart, given that he’s a doctor and all, so he may just succeed when, in an attempt to escape his captivity, Sheila’s son plays a trick on her. But the wily she-devil is a hard cookie to crumble, to understate the matter, and has Mike at her beck and call to boot. Will the desperate husband and father be able to make a getaway and take the first step on his long journey to reunite with Steffy, Hayes and Kelly — or remain under lock and key?!

General Hospital

As the Fourth of July arrives, sparks fly between Alexis and her new sparring partner, Spencer has a serious conversation with Sonny, Cody finds himself distracted, and what’s supposed to be a romantic date for two turns into a very messy situation!

Week of June 27:

Monday, June 27:

Ned is named Chairman of the Board at ELQ, Michael gives his full attention to his plan with Dex after the ELQ and Aurora merger is called off, and a sick-looking Willow passes out into Sonny’s arms.

Things could get a bit messy — and potentially loud — when Olivia has it out with Nina and Sasha. Something tells us throwing Willow into the combustible mix isn’t likely to help matters!

Sonny wants Brando and Dex to put aside their differences and start getting along. Yeah, good luck with that one, boss man!

Drew makes it clear exactly where he stands with Valentin.

Carly has reason to celebrate, and who better to do that with than Josslyn and Bobbie?

When Chase finally gets word, Brook Lynn’s the person he most wants to share it with.

Tuesday, June 28:

Due to ongoing news, the soap was preempted today and will air Tuesday’s episode tomorrow.

Wednesday, June 29:

After being rushed to the hospital, TJ reveals some test results to Willow, Carly learns she is likely going to lose the Metro Court, and Valentin and Victor discuss their plans that Anna can’t know about.

If there’s one thing we know, it’s that bathing suits aren’t the only revealing things at the Metro Court pool. That proves true today when something unexpected leads to a bit of info coming to light.

Michael’s making plans for his next move against Sonny… and you’ll never guess who overhears!

Nina and Obrecht discuss their love lives.

Anna wants to know more about Valentin’s relationship with and loyalty to newfound dad Victor.

As Epiphany prepares for one of the biggest days of her life, TJ is right there in her corner.

Thursday, June 30:

Britt agrees to help Spencer with the next phase of his plan after he apologizes, Cody has a proposition for Spinelli, and Michael and Willow celebrate their good news.

It turns out that Cody’s just full of surprises. Dante and Sam find that out when they discover he has a connection they never suspected.

Spencer hopes that Brad will be able to lend him a helping hand. Britt, however, thinks that’s a bad idea all around! Meanwhile, Esme apparently can’t help but want the attention of any guy who likes Trina, explaining why she begins flirting with Rory at the pool!

Trina, meanwhile, is surrounded by her support system as she prepares for the beginning of her trial. Will she finally be able to clear her name?

Ex-lovers Michael and Sasha reconnect.

Friday, July 1:

Sasha pops pills before her appearance on Home & Heart, Cam and Spencer put a plan for Esme into action, and Carly turns down Olivia’s offer to help her out.

It ain’t easy being the Face of Deception, especially given all of the other stresses Sasha’s been under of late. As she prepares for her big TV appearance on the company’s behalf, will Felty’s arrival prove helpful… or disastrous?

When Chase is in need of a little advice, his dad and brother are there to provide it.

Is the end of Trina’s nightmare finally in sight? It could be, if Spencer’s right in what he tells Cameron. Meanwhile, Esme’s on high alert after coming across Scott taking a meeting with Ava and Nikolas.

Brook Lynn hopes that Sonny will come to her assistance.

Week of July 4:

Monday, July 4:

Due to the holiday, an encore of the soap’s Wednesday, November 24, 2021, episode will air.

Tuesday, July 5:

Who doesn’t like a good proposition? When Drew approaches Nina with one, will she accept? (And no, Sonny doesn’t have to worry… this is a business proposal!) Meanwhile, when Carly crosses paths with Sonny, she does her best to be evasive. Will he figure out what she’s trying to keep from him?

Spencer and Cameron’s attempt to help Trina gets underway… only to rather quickly go awry! Things also don’t go at all as planned when the Deception crew arrives for Sasha’s appearance on the Home & Heart Channel!

Cody’s having a nice evening with Dante and Rocco… until the newcomer catches a glimpse of Spinelli? Now why does that bother him so?

Wednesday, July 6:

In the aftermath of Sasha’s recent behavior, Brando finds himself making what has to be a terribly difficult decision.

Sonny can tell that something’s wrong… but will Nina be able to tell him what it is?

Michael and Willow are enjoying time at the Quartermaine stables when they’re interrupted by Cody.

Britt is surprised by what she receives while talking to Kevin.

Drew tries to explain things to Carly. But given how often she hears what she wants to hear, that could prove to be a real challenge.

Thursday, July 7:

Finn’s pretty sure he’s right, but Chase refuses to co-sign on what his big brother is saying. Meanwhile, Ned’s pretty sure he knows exactly what’s got Brook Lynn so upset.

Alexis wants to know why Gregory hasn’t risen to the challenge she laid before him. (Frankly, we’re pretty sure we know why: The show’s increasingly problematic pacing!)

Anna and Valentin seem to finally be moving forward in their romance, but Laura’s a bit concerned about her friend’s relationship. One reason? Victor’s influence on his son. And guess what? Even as Laura is voicing her concern, we’ll give you one guess who Valentin is meeting with in the park!

Elizabeth may be caught off guard when she sees who Kevin has brought to visit her. Meanwhile, her portrayer, Rebecca Herbst, has taken to Twitter in order to address a few rumors about her status with the soap.

Friday, July 8:

Ned and Olivia find themselves on the opposite end of another topic. This time around, it’s newcomer Cody who has them seeing things differently.

Whose arrival derails Britt and Terry’s attempt to bond while discussing everything from their jobs to their dating prospects?

Having caught at least a bit of Anna’s phone call, Victor wants to know more about what he heard. Meanwhile, Laura can’t help but be worried about the request she received from Valentin. Is she about to get caught up in a Cassadine family feud?

When Brook Lynn and Chase agree that it’s time they have a conversation, will they finally realize just how right they are for one another and stop with all this delaying nonsense?

For Alexis, verbal sparring is practically a mating call. Here’s hoping that when Gregory steps into the ring with her, he’s able to keep up!

You never know what Victor has up his sleeve next…

Days of Our Lives

While many gather for Abigail’s funeral, including Tony and Anna, Ben and Ciara share big news with their loved ones. Plus, Rafe makes an arrest in Abigail’s murder, EJ has a stunning confession, Jan lures Shawn to the docks — and Kate’s upset when she learns about Lucas’ latest plan.

Week of July 4:

Monday, July 4:

As the town of Salem gathers to mourn the loss of Abigail, Tony and Anna arrive to join the extended DiMera family in celebrating her life. Sonny and Will are on hand to help Chad as he tries to figure out how he’ll go on. And when Kayla attempts to deliver Abby’s eulogy, she finds it almost impossible to summon up the words.

Perhaps not surprisingly, JJ and Jack don’t see eye to eye where Gwen is concerned.

Tuesday, July 5:

Gathering their loved ones, Ciara and Ben prepare to share very big, potentially life-changing news. (Could this have something to do with the fact that they’ll soon be visiting Hope in the second chapter of Peacock’s Beyond Salem?)

How will Marlena feel about the request she receives from former patient Ben?

Watch out, Salem, because Orpheus is about to put another of his wicked plans in motion.

Shawn receives a phone call which leaves him with more than a few questions.

Wednesday, July 6:

The good news: Rafe is about to arrest a suspect for the murder of Abigail. The bad news? Come on… when’s the last time the Salem PD actually arrested the right person for a crime the first time out of the gate?

Ciara can’t help but wonder if perhaps Shawn is falling under Jan’s spell. Ironically, even as she tries to get answers from him on that very topic, Jan realizes that her time may be running out!

It’ll feel like old (bad) times when Will and Leo cross paths. Let’s just say they won’t be hugging out their differences!

Thursday, July 7:

How will Chad react to the downright stunning confession EJ is about to make?

Jan has a plan, which begins by luring Shawn to the docks so she can fill him in. (Life lesson for Jan: If step one of your plan involves “luring” someone somewhere, it’s probably not the best idea to begin with.) Meanwhile, Belle is feeling that old, familiar pull toward the husband she still loves.

When Leo and Nancy have a heated exchange, he suddenly comes to a realization about his partner-in-illicit-activities, Clyde!

Friday, July 8:

Ciara and Ben say farewell to Salem as, like Bo and Hope before them, they set sail on a new adventure!

When Shawn and Belle lay it all on the line, will their conversation lead to a new beginning… or a final farewell? Meanwhile, Marlena takes it upon herself to warn EJ that his involvement with Belle will likely end in heartache.

Leo and Gwen have a long history, which is why he has a sneaking suspicion that she has something to hide!

Week of July 11:

Monday, July 11:

Lucas makes a confession to Will.

Tuesday, July 12:

Chad has a stunning realization about Abigail’s murderer.

Wednesday, July 13:

Sami’s world is turned upside down.

Lucas and Sami’s wedding takes an unexpected turn.

Thursday, July 14:

Chad demands answers from the latest suspect in Abigail’s murder.

Friday, July 15:

Kate is unhappy when she learns of Lucas’s plan.
