Young and the Restless Alum Alyvia Alyn Lind Celebrates Her Birthday

It’s been a while since Alyvia Alyn Lind has played Faith Newman on The Young and the Restless, as she now is appearing with a killer doll in the series Chucky. But that’s not all she has going on that’s worth celebrating.

Happy Birthday, Alyvia Alyn Lind

And that’s because she was born on July 27, 2007, in North Carolina, which means that this talented young actress is turning 15 years old today! Lind landed her The Young and the Restless role of Faith in 2011 when she was a mere 3 years old.

Two years later, she made her feature film debut in the science fiction horror thriller Dark Skies (opposite Keri Russell and Josh Hamilton). Between 2012 and 2015, Lind had a recurring role on the ABC serial Revenge as young Amanda Clarke (a role played by actress Emily VanCamp).

Lind’s other acting credits include recurring roles in Transparent, See Dad Run, and Masters of Sex, guest spots on NCIS, Teachers, and 9-1-1, and featured parts in the made-for-TV movie A Deadly Adoption as well as films such as Blended, An American Girl Story – Maryellen 1955: Extraordinary Christmas, and Overboard.

Lind has twice portrayed a young Dolly Parton. First in the 2015 NBC special Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors and again in the 2016 sequel film Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love.

She is the youngest daughter of Barbara Alyn Woods (an actress known for her roles in One Tree Hill, Eden, and Honey, I Shrunk the Kids) and director/producer John Lind. Both of Lind’s sisters — Natalie Alyn and Emily Alyn — are actresses.
